Problems of foreigners in Finland

 I do not know so much of foreigners in Finland, but when there are problems, it is often that the problematic aggressive persons have too thin clothes or too little room for warm air inside clothes, so machine knitted thick fabric of a very loose size would be much better. If you feel cold, winter time indoors clothes may be needed already in the sjmmer time. Or then they have not eaten the normal foods of the season of where they are in Finland, for example now in November that could be laatikko ( foods called "box" ) that is warm and with it some butter too, plus raw carrot or the like in tiny pieces, and maybe a glass of milk.

 Antonio Vivaldi's The Four Seasons ought to belong to one's general knowledge. One gets from it a view of what are the seasons, what they feel like and some fascinating sides of each season. It is good to know that autumn leads to winter, and what they both are like. But kevät spring is too different for listening before the spring side of winter or midwinter.

Some history : Lalli

O11.   I somehow just came across the old history knowledge of Finnish peasant Lalli who around 1100's murdered bishop Henrik on the ice of the sea. Christianity was not yet in Finland. The Swedes were very unwise, very poor influence for the Finns. The Finns likes church because it too had some wisdom. But bishop Henrik was in friendly terms with the Swedes whom he helped to come to Finland. So the peasant whose name Lalli brought the association "laululintu" = singing bird, which Finns consider wise since it has both nature environment and music, Lalli tried to protect the possibilitues for wisdom in Finland and so he killed the bishop Henrik on the ice of the sea between Sweden and Finlsnd. But Finland was conquered and so we dtill have the problem of too luttle room for wisdom, too luttle understanding on those who claim to give the possibilities for wisdom and lufe with in the nature.

I haven't know what a myth is. But I think that this one is a mythical tale, somehow inscribed in the collective history of the Finnish culture. I guess that such means that it isn't so much a historical fact but instead a major phenomena still happening around here, maybe in similar places too. It was 1100, what could it be that tends to rise to the top? When some group or culture has a collective theory perspective, a group that tends to conquer it are those who claim to follow the same theory perspective well but don't respect it's values. As a cure one should demand good quality and common sense, justice and responsibility too.

Who is a Finn?

 I do not know for sure, but my impression was that in the end of July last summer 80% of the people kn my environment, in Espoo at the capital district of Finland, were from the tropics. And at large I feel that most people are from some other cultural background than Finnish speaking Finland, whoch is maybe just 1% of adults. When people refer to Finns they refer to inhabitants of Finland. Many of them would like some other culture to shine on typical Finnish strenghts and I guess that those cultures do not want such grest emphazis on Finnish values, Finnish ways and Finnish skills, and so they thought it good that these people move to Finland to live their wished for Finnish kind of lufe as Finns, but I guess that those who moved did not think changing cultures so easy thing for themselves.
