Finland is called Suomi in Finnish language. That comes from the Finnish words "mi suo" i.e. which gives by allowing the possibility for something, like democracy for example gives, and nature gives fruits, without it being any burden for the giver.
Finnish language is not related to English, Swedish, German, French, Russian etc, but is similar to Estonian langauge.
